  1. Wow! What a great idea! I love reading engagement stories and a book of engagement stories from "real" heros- that is even better! I like how you set us up in your introduction by giving little bits of each story you are going to include. I have not read these tales before, so I am excited to see your writing for them! I like how you added humor to your intro it kept it lively and entertaining. I also think the background is very fitting! I look forward to seeing more!

  2. This is such a cute storybook! I love the layout you chose for your storybook site—I think the color pink and a background with hearts are great for a collection of engagement stories. I think this is such a clever idea for your storybook. I am always drawn to romance in plots, so I personally love that this storybook simply highlights the romantic aspects of certain heroic stories. I am interested to see how “courageous heroes show their love in different ways than the average man.” It will also be fun to see what you came up for each different engagement story. If I had one tip, I would say to center your picture on the introduction page, and maybe even make it a little smaller! Other than that, this is such a fun storybook idea and I can’t wait to see how it turns out! Keep up the great work!

  5. Hi Cassie!
I really like the contrast of the creme text box with the pink background! For some reason, it reminds me of strawberry ice cream, which I love! From looking at you and Adrienne's blogs, I think I need to do a little more digging and come up with a design theme that captures my personality more! Thanks for the inspiration!

  6. Hey Cassie! Just wanted to say that I really like how you set up your blog! It is so lively and easy to read from. I feel like I know you a little bit more just by the look of your blog! You have great stories as well, just in general great!

  7. Hello Cassie! I thought your introduction was hilarious! I never thought about creating a storybook that focused solely on engagement stories. I thought that was really creative! The standards for posting an engagement story was funny too. He HAS to be a hero. Non-heros not allowed. That must really narrow down the amount of stories on that website. I liked how you introduced the stories that you'll be writing about. Now I have a general idea of what to expect in your story book which is always nice. I'm not left confused. The images that you chose for your story book really compliment the theme of your story. The statues are beautiful and convey the passion between couples which is expected for newly engaged couples. Your background also emphasizes the theme! There are so many pink hearts! This must have been a great read for Valentine's Day. Great job on writing your introduction!

  8. Hey Cassie, I really enjoyed reading some of your blog. The color is definitely an attention getter right when you click on your name and the blog comes up. I like going to blogs that have brighter color instead of ones that are just dark. Your whole engagement stories thing is hilarious, as my girlfriend would be obsessed with it. She is all about engagement stories and watching videos of engagements and all that kind of stuff. I might send her this way! Haha.

  9. Hi, Cassie! I really like your Storybook. I actually laughed when I read your Introduction because I thought it was funny that this company was looking for engagement stories about heroes. I also thought that email address that you included in your Introduction was funny and clever as well! I hated that Madea went so far to kill Jason's new wife and her father and children. That is crazy! I am glad you left that part out of your story so it would be a happy ending. I thought that was very interesting to read though.
The only thing that I would recommend changing in your Introduction and the stories that follow is to break up your writing more. It is easier for your readers to follow if you have several paragraphs throughout your writing. I would also suggest changing the font color of your Storybook to black so it stands out against that pink background. Overall, great job and I look forward to reading more of your stories in the future!
